  • First Steps at MMD is not a chain, while it follows the education plan of the Montessori philosophy, school decisions are made by the group for the group.
  • Schedules- 7am – 6pm availability to accommodate working families and a range of schedule options: Full-time, 2-day, 3-day, or Half-day. Before and aftercare options are available for Primary students.
  • Meals Included- healthy balanced meals are prepared fresh each day and served family-style for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
  • Security Features- 11 cameras with video recording and swipe card entry.
  • Diverse Culture- Monarch welcomes families from Denver and surrounding neighborhoods to add a climate of acceptance and appreciation for children of all types and abilities.
  • Educated Professionals- Each member of the school brings a specialized set of skills and experiences to the team. Monarch values education and the notion that learning never stops, this shines in our professional growth plans, staff development trainings and engagement committees. Teachers build a caring relationship with each child.
  • Community-First Steps at Monarch Montessori collaborates with organizations in the surrounding community, partnering with educational groups such as Qualistar and Denver Preschool Program. We also collaborate with Montessori groups and professionals, and teacher training programs.
  • Family Involvement- Monarch welcomes parents to join the learning process and offers observation windows into each classroom to see the developmental transformation of their child.
