Monarch Montessori takes your family’s health and safety to heart.  We have many safeguards in place to protect our students and staff. Currently, our infant, toddler and preschool programs are fully open. The elementary program has in-person and remote options for all grade levels.

  • Any person entering the building must have a temperature and symptom check daily.
  • Check out our Illness guideline here to determine if students should stay home.
  • Only students, staff, therapists and essential building maintenance workers are allowed in the building.
  • Anyone inside the building above 2 years old is required to wear a mask.
  • On-site nurse daily.
  • Classrooms are placed in cohorts which means your child will stay with the same group every day.
  • If a positive case presents itself in a cohort, the cohort group quarantines for 2 weeks. In elementary, students will continue school remotely during that quarantine.
  • Montessori rugs have been replaced with yoga mats for easier disinfecting.
  • Floors waxed with an antimicrobial wax so germs don’t stick. Learn More!
  • Weather/Air quality permitting, students will spend as much time outside as possible. Outdoor classrooms and gardens are utilized daily.
  • Installed in August 2020, a new HVAC system for better ventilation using MERV 13 filters and added an ionizer to the system to make viruses inactive. Click here to learn more about the ionizer.
  • We follow all the latest guidelines from the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment
