Two Schools Under One Roof!

Monarch opened its doors in 2010 with a private non-profit nido through primary program (infants though preschool). With its success, Monarch applied to add a public elementary school through Denver Public Schools in 2012. With the addition of the new school, the private side of Monarch became First Steps at Monarch Montessori of Denver and the public elementary became known as Monarch Montessori of Denver Elementary. With one leadership team overseeing the continunity of Montessori between both schools, we are two schools with the foundation of  Montessori. In 2018, First Steps added a dual language path (English/ Spanish) that has know grown into the public elementary.
