  • The 2020 federal Title IX regulations require each district to post the name of its Lead Title IX Coordinator, all of their required contact information, the district’s non-discrimination policy and grievance procedures, and Title IX training materials used. Non-discrimination policy and Title IX Coordinator contact info must be “prominently” displayed on the district’s website.
  • Notice of school board meetings may be posted on the School’s website and shall meet the notice of requirements of Colorado’s Open Meetings Law if posted online at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. This is policy and practice specific but is good practice to post Meeting notices on the website. C.R.S. § 24-6-402(2)(c)(III).
  • School boards may charge a fee for research and retrieval of public documents pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act. Before charging an increased fee, a school board must revise its policy to include the new fee and post the updated policy on its website or otherwise publish the written policy C.R.S. §24-72-205(6)
